Assemble your items on a clean surface, and put a soft blanket on the work surface, to protect your items. If you haven''t the skills to assemble it, get someone who does, or call Dial4furniture and we can do it for a fee.

Be very cautious when using power tools - even though they are essential alot of the time, select one with torque restricters, so you can turn the power down. Then finish off with a screwdriver.

Don''t put hot or cold objects directly onto furniture, and wipe any spills immediately.

Buy as much as you can afford at once, so it all matches, and you avoid the risk of items and ranges becoming altered or discontinued.

Get help when lifting furniture, once it is assembled the center of gravity moves much further away, so whilst it was easily moved in a flat packed state, when assembled you can soon strain your back.

Cover furniture with Egyptian cotton sheets before decorating.

Avoid overloading drawers and wardrobes I think we can all be guilty of doing it at some stage.

Avoid chipboard and laminated furniture if you can afford to do so. Solid wood, or painted MDF is stronger.

Plan in advance, make a room plan on paper, and measure your available space. Ensure you have adequte space for the furniture your buying, and that you can get the items into the room.

Be cautious with wood and  laminate floors, they can proove to be a slippery, and bedframes are prone to sliding on them. If you do put a bedframe on a laminate floor put a rug under the entire bed so it all moves together.

 

Where is corona mexican furniture from? The furniture is made in Brazil where there is a plentyful supply of wood, and low cost labour. The country has some of the most up todate factories in the world using cutting edge technology. The style is often classed as Mexican, but this is the only connection with Mexico.

Tips for corona and mexican furniture.

The black dots. The black dots are a design feature that appears on much of the corona range. It appears on both  the front doors of wardrobes, and on the tops of various items including the bedframes, dining tables, etc. It is a method of artificial ageing. It is created by using a hot hedgehog iron, and in most instances is attractive and adds to the appearance of the furniture. We do get the occasional customer complaining the furniture has wood worm,  but you can be sure it is not. And will only occur in one patch the area of a fist.
Tips for corona and mexican furniture.
To look after your furniture use wax to polish it with, if you use furniture polish use it sparingly.
If you damage the furniture you can touch up the waxed finish using a medium oak stained waxed,  available at most DIY stores, use a little bit at a time to build up to the desired colour, I would advise do a pracitise run on the back of a drawer or some where out of sight.
If you dent or split the wood, use normal wood work glue to join it together, and you can buy medium oak wood filler, to fill any holes

There are several ways in which you may order products with us:

  • Online Shopping - Simply browse through our online catalogue and click "add to basket" for each item that you wish to purchase.  Once you have chosen the items you wish to purchase, click on "go to checkout" to go to the payment section.  To pay online for your products you need to use a Credit/Debit card.  Please enter your card details, delivery address and any other information you are prompted to provide.
  • E-Mail - Browse through our online catalogue, making note of the product ID tags of those products you wish to purchase, this can be done easily by copying and pasting the IDs into your e-mail editor.  Once you have the ID tags for each product, send an e-mail with the products you require to dial4furniture@hotmail.co.uk  so we may collate your order.  Upon receipt of payment; this can be via cheque through the post or credit/debit card over the phone; we will send your items to you.  A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you once we have received your payment to confirm it has been received.
  • Telephone - Please feel free to contact us via the telephone and place your order with one of our members of staff, who will be able to take payment via Credit/Debit card.

 

  • Cash on delivery - Please ring to place your order quoting the product ID, and pay cash on delivery. This option is only available where we deliver with our own transport. That is Shropshire, Wolverhampton, and Birmingham. Else where we use couriers who will not accept Cash on delivery

(We reserve the right to deliver a similar alternative if necessary).

  • Cheque (via post) - Please ensure that you write the name and address of the account holder on the rear of the cheque, along with the long number on the front of the guarantee card. Cheques should be made payable to "Dial-a-mattress"  this needs to be posted to; Dial a mattress, (Dial4furniture), 204 Whitchurch Rd, Harlescott, Shrewsbury, Shroshire, SY1 4EL.

We need the cheque to clear before we can dispatch the order. Please write your contact details on the back of the cheque, and the item yu have ordered.

Delivery

 

Delivery is free to most places except where stated differently.
**Deliveries to the Sottish Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland are subject to higher delivery cost, we would discuss with the customers first, and covers postcodes  some IV, some PH post codes, and some KA postcodes, plus one or two others.        
   Your purchases are despatched as quickly as possible, but please allow up to 5-10 working days after payment is received for delivery, unless other wise stated. The majority of our products are sold flatpacked, assembly can be arranged and varies from £10, £20 and upwards.
  (We do reserve the right to deliver a similar alternative to what was ordered but we would discuss this with the customer first).
Terms for damaged goods

 Damaged goods/returns.

All goods are insured. If your items are being delivered by courier, and the boxes are damaged  - and you can see that the items are damaged you must sign saying they are damaged.

This way we can claim off the couriers insurance. If you do not sign stating that they are damaged - we have no method of claiming off them, and you are infact stating that they were received in good condition by default.

Please take photographs of the items and leave them in the packaging.

We are trying to do as many deliveries with our own staff as we can - but couriers play an important role too.

If you decide the products aren't for you, you are within your rights to return the items within 21 days for a full refund. You of course have to return them in the same condition as you received them, and you are also responsible for the cost of any postage and packaging required.

Faulty goods. All faulty goods will be exchanged  but you must notify us within 7days of accepting the items.

We can not guarantee the images are a perfect colour match to our furniture, but we would expect all our ranges to match other items in the range.
